Man's head and hand chopped off over land dispute in Delta State (graphic photo)

A man was killed in Delta State following a land dispute which escalated. For years, the Amai and Umuebu communities in Ndokwa West, Delta state, have been at loggerheads over a land. This dispute has now culminated in the death of a man in the most gruesome way.

According to a post shared by Austyne Emu, who is resident in Delta State, the corpse seen without a head and hands is one of the victims of the land dispute - a dispute which over the years has led to the death of many.

The deceased, who is from Amai, was returning from his farm when he was allegedly attacked by armed youths around the Umuebu community.

What a sad way to go.

27-Year-Old Nigerian Man Arrested In India With $525K Worth Of Drugs

Meet the latest Nigerian man arrested for drug trafficking in India. He has been identified as Chinedu Peter Okafor.

The 27 year old was arrested in Gujarat India, with narcotics worth over $525,000.

The 27 year-old Nigerian identified as Chinedu Peter Okafor was travelling from Delhi to Goa when he was nabbed on the Madgoan Rajdhani Express train.

He had frequented the route and triggered suspicions before his arrest by operatives of the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Both The Times of India and Deshgujarat.com said upon searching the Nigerian an assortment of drugs was found on him, hidden in his bag and shoes. Found was 843gm of methamphetamine, 255gm of cocaine and 65 gm of ecstasy tablets.

The street value of the drugs, was estimated at 3.5Crores, about $525,000.

Indian law enforcement agents have repeatedly arrested Nigerians in connection with drug trafficking and fraud in the country, bringing huge shame to Nigerians in that country and at home.

Sosoliso Plane Crash Survivor, Kechi Okwuchi Sings At America's Got Talent 2017, Melts Hearts

Kechi Okwuchi Trust, one of the two survivors of 2005 Sosoliso plane crash performed at America's Got Talent 2017 recently and melted the hearts of judges.

Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 took off from Abuja and crash landed at Port Harcourt International Airport, leaving 107 people dead out of 109.

Kechi alongside one other survivor was treated at Milpark Hospital, Johannesburg South Africa. She later moved to the U.S in 2007 for a reconstructive surgery -- a total of hundred surgeries for years after the unfortunate incident.

She graduated from the University of St. Thomas, Houston Texas on May 16th, 2015 where she was the student speaker at the 2015 Commencement Ceremony.

The 26-year-old has continued to inspire many with her story, making all realise that your looks do not define who you are.

A man, identified as Chibuike Onwuchekwa, inflicted injuries on his housemaid for failing to fill two water containers at Umuga Ovom in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

Eyewitnesses told Vanguard that Onwuchekwa and his wife had, last Sunday, sent the young girl (names withheld) to fill two water containers in their house from a nearby borehole, while they left for church service.

Photos; 9 farmers killed by Fulani herdsmen in Benue laid to rest

Nine persons killed by suspected herdsmen in Akaa village, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State have been laid to rest.

The deceased were murdered by suspected herdsmen on May 7th at about 4pm. The Benue State Police Command arrested 8 herdsmen suspected to be culpable with the killing. They would be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded..

Speaking at the funeral service on May 27th, in Ugba, family members of the victims described the killing of farmers in as unwarranted.

A pro-ranching pressure group, Movement Against Fulani Occupation also described the killing as a direct affront on the State government's peace effort through ranching, as a sustainable way to achieve peaceful co-existence.

The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Liaison, Mr Baba Acka, insisted on the implementation of the law.
